If you’re not heading to college…

These days, there are so many options for high schoolers getting ready to graduate. It’s become clear that there is no single “right way” to be successful in your career or future, and that means many students are opting for gap years, trade schools, or starting jobs right out of high school. Others have had family tragedies or personal circumstances that require them to postpone their college careers. I wanted to touch on this because sometimes, there is a stigma surrounding students who choose not to go to college, and senior photos.

Senior photos are not just for celebrating where you are going to college. Yes, it’s a fun and important milestone for those who are choosing that route, and that deserves incredible celebration! I am so proud of the seniors I have worked with who are attending the university of their dreams, and beginning such an exciting new chapter. I also want to celebrate with equal joy the ones who are doing something different. If you or your senior are taking a different route than college after graduation, please know that senior photos are just as important.

Senior photos celebrate the hard work and accomplishments that have brought you to this point. They allow you to have a customized and tailored-to-you experience that wraps up your high school career. Lastly, they give you a boost of confidence and joy during a stressful season of your life. They will be treasured for years to come!
