What is the Allie Harrington Photography Brand?

Branding...it can feel a little weird to think about your ‘brand’. At least, it is for me. I value personal connection and the relationships I build with my clients over my “brand”, but these days, my brand really does matter. I’ve had to dig deep the last several years, and decide what that might look like for me; a photographer who loves people, and their stories. Here is what you get when you book with me:

1)  A personal connection: I value every client who comes to me, and believe they are an Image Bearer, and a treasured human. I love connecting with the tiny toddlers and the new mamas, and the families who are hurting or celebrating or remembering. I get to know you and your story, and figure out how to best capture you in an authentic way.

2)  A quality set of images: My images are crisp and beautifully, minimally edited. I believe in making you the center of the story, with beautiful lighting and pretty outdoor settings and room to play. I specialize in adventure sessions, as well as ones right here at home. Whether it’s the redwoods or the coast, your images will be the ones you’ll treasure for years to come.

3)  Uniqueness: No session is the same when you book with me, and so my clients love coming back to me for yearly images, knowing they will have a nice variety! I mix up my locations, in order to make sure your annual photos don’t all have the same field or building behind you (unless that’s your jam!). I also personally scout new locations all the time, and love showing my return clients new and exciting spots that I discover.

4)  Step by Step guidance: Many of my clients haven’t done photos in awhile, or they’re nervous about the expense or the process with little ones. I think a supported client is a happy client, and that reflects in the photos. Confidence is built with communication, and that’s what I can offer you: plenty of guidance along the way, from booking to handing over your completed gallery.

5)  A listening ear: I love listening to your story. Whether you are brand-new or a legacy client, I believe the things we go through influence the reasons and the effects of taking family or portrait photos. Please feel free to share with me why you are booking your session, especially if it represents a milestone or special memory that you and your family have endured in the last few years.

My brand isn’t as important to me as the connections I’ve forged over the years, but I hope you feel confident when you book with me, that you’ve come to the right place!
