This sweet family is not only beautiful, but kind. Meet the Welch crew! They have three adorable little girls, and each one has their own cute personality. We met up on a very ideal day here in Southern Oregon, at one of my favorite locations. The greenery, lighting, and space to run and play make it a big highlight for my family clients.
When searching out locations, I look for places that will be stress-free for parents of little ones. Here are couple other tips for things you’ll want to avoid when booking your family shoot:
Avoid booking at nap time: This never ends well! I know it can be hard to juggle nap times and family photos, but I am always happy to offer the best session times that I can. Please let me know if naps are an issue for you so we can brainstorm a solution together.
Avoid locations where kids can’t move or play: Little ones tend to quickly lose interest in having their photo done, and it goes smoother for everyone if they are allowed to move their bodies and utilize their natural curiosity.
Avoid missing mealtimes: It can be really tough to manage mealtimes, dressing everyone up, and naps. But I always encourage my clients to make sure everyone in the family eats a full meal (including mom!). Everyone will have energy and feel happier if their bellies are full!
