Thankful.

What does it mean to be truly thankful?

For me, it’s living with a posture of gratitude that reflects my thankfulness. In our little corner of Southern Oregon, I know you have many options when it comes to capturing photos of your precious family or senior. I am so very grateful that you found my work or heard about me from family or friends, and I never take it for granted. This season I am thankful for…

First and foremost, my faith. The cornerstone of my life.

My husband and our precious little boys: For those of you who didn’t know, I am pregnant with our third son, and beyond grateful for the gift of my family. I am supported every day by my husband and I couldn’t do this without him. There is so many things behind the scenes that you don’t see and many of those are thanks to my sweet family.

My senior and family clients (you!): I am beyond thankful that among all the many talented artists in our region, you choose me to capture some of the biggest days in your life. Whether it’s a brand-new client or a legacy client who has used me for several years, I am always eager to meet them and learn what makes them unique. I feel so grateful that getting to plan locations and backdrops and help with outfits is something I get to do on a daily basis. It brings me such joy.

My art: Being a photographer is more than social media and editing, and does involve a creative side. I love that I can follow my passion and get to create meaningful art for the people who I photograph. It’s not just about getting a posed image, it’s about bringing a vision or a dream to life and making it happen for my clients.

My upcoming year: With welcoming a new baby, I am mindful that this upcoming year will hold inevitable changes. I am so thankful that as I have welcomed all my babies, my clients and my audience has stuck by me and walked through the journey with me.

With gratitude,

Allie
