Texas Family Session// White Rock Lake

During a recent trip to Texas to visit my family, we fit in a family session! I love photographing all my clients, but family is always a special treat. When they visited last, the wildfires here in Southern Oregon broke out, cutting our time short. I was elated to make this shoot happen instead, in their very own stompin' grounds! I sure love this crew, and couldn't be more grateful to capture this precious season for them.

White Rock Lake is about five miles outside of downtown Dallas, and it's one of the most beautiful spots. It has tons of greenery and walking space, and has a very organic feel. It's also great for children, because there is plenty of space to run around! When I work with little ones, I always love choosing locations where they are free to play and run, because it creates positive associations with photoshoots (which makes it much easier in the future, trust me!).
